I was having voltage issues with the electrical system in my 2007.5 6.7 3500, and I was sick of trying to piecemeal and cobble together different parts of the main harnesses from auto parts stores as I approach 300,000 miles, so I did a search for after-market replacement cables and found CE Auto Electric. I would advise anyone who is sick of crimping terminals and chasing voltage drops to do the same, and I realize I wasted a lot of time (and probably money) trying to “MacGyver” my system together, all at the expense of performance in what has been a phenomenal truck. A quick call with Tony answered all of my questions, and he was always available for follow-up questions (I had a few during install – amazing customer service). The cable package is REALLY high quality, cheaper than crappy Mopar OEM, and easy to install – I think the fit is better than original. Do yourself a favor and get some real cables to go with your Cummins engine – you’ll be very glad you did.
I ordered the Headlight Relay Harness for my 1997 Ford F250HD pickup after realizing I needed a relay harness for the headlights. The headlight wiring is notoriously light gauged for the Gen 7-8-9 Ford trucks, causing my headlight bulbs to be dim, even with new quality bulbs. I ordered the harness and it was shipped out quickly which was surprising. As stated on the website, I needed nothing from the parts store to complete the installation. The harness was robustly assembled from quality products and provided with great instructions. Without the harness, I had 10.4v to my headlights. Now I have full battery voltage 13.7v with the engine running. This harness combined with Vosla +100 HB5/9007 bulbs allows me to see properly at night. My thanks to the crew at CE Auto Electric Supply for a quality product.

I mistakenly ordered an incorrect item from the website. This was purely my mistake. Tony caught the mistake before the order was fulfilled, emailing me to check if I had ordered the correct component. He then sent me a link to the component I was looking for. It is not common to find an e-commerce company with customer service like this today!! I will most definitely be a returning customer and will be sure to send more business their way! Tony is amongst a very select few in the aftermarket industry who stills take the time with you. If you need ANYTHING in automotive electrical then he’s your guy. His website is both informative and inspirational. In my chats with him I came to realize that there is huge value in having someone in a niche market that walks what he talks, from design to execution and being really picky about what he sells regarding auto electrical stuff – like proper crimp fittings and big cables. His books (Tony Candela/SA Design) on auto electrical are, in my opinion, the best out there.

Tony went the extra distance to get my dodge sport headlight conversion kit to me. I am impressed with the quality, and what a difference it made to my being able to see down the road at night. I placed a small order, some wire and terminals/connectors. Then a few minutes later realized CE had another small item I was interested in so placed the order for that. Tony responded to my e-mail request to combine the orders almost immediately, refunded the extra shipping fee, and the combined order was shipped right out. It arrived promptly, well packaged and well documented. Will definitely order from CE when I next need auto-electric supplies. Thank you!
After 3 orders fulfilled by CE Auto, I feel like it’s important to shout out for CE Auto. This company, is flat out amazing. I initially came to this site because they sold the wire I was looking for in lengths that work for me. What surprised me was that the quality was far beyond my expectations. I ended up buying everything I needed for two restorations and after working with their products, I won’t be able to go back to even the best auto parts store for anything electrical.
I’ve purchased cable, wire, connectors, cable protection and tools now. Each order was very fast, the quality unmatched, the packing and identification the most professional I’ve ever seen, and the responsiveness to questions unparalleled. I consider the prices a bargain, especially because I now realize, this company sells no junk anywhere in their catalog. I’m betting they sell products based on what they would pick for their own personal ultimate installations, and that is the kind of business I’m confident to recommend to other restorers. This is the place I’ll be recommending to our customers when they ask us about wiring products.

Just wanted to let you know that the cables arrived and they look great!
I’m very pleased with them and I’m sure that they will work so much better than what is on the truck now.
At some point in the near future I’ll be asking for an estimate on a couple cables for my ’64 Galaxie, these will be 1/0 gauge, just a tad bigger due to a bigger engine.

Anyways, seriously thanks for your help and that fast ass wire. I live in a tiny shithole town in SE Appalachia, I’ve basically quit going to stores for resources because they basically have nothing of use. When I had such a shit time finding some real damn OFC wire on Amazon, I was pretty frustrated. Glad you and your site was there in my time of need.
