This is Cross-Link Polyolefin with a 3:1 shrink ratio. The adhesive melts with heat to completely insulate the termination and keep the elements out.

For your convenience we offer it in 4-foot lengths so you can cut it to any length you desire for large projects.

Description

We provide the following ID guidelines:

  • 3/8” ID – Use to insulate our 6 AWG and 8 AWG MEGA eyelets, splices up to 10 AWG, and to dress tubing to wires
  • 1/4″ ID – Use to insulate 12 AWG, 14 AWG, and 16 AWG splices
  • 3/16” ID – Use to insulate 18 AWG and 20 AWG splices
  • 1/8” ID – Use to insulate 22 AWG and 24 AWG splices
