These are ideal for splicing lengths of large cable. When properly crimped or soldered, our MEGA Butt Connectors will stand the test of time. They’re made of the very same super thick copper barrel stock as our MEGA Eyelets. They are also tin plated to resist corrosion and oxidation.
We recommend our Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink for 8 AWG and 6 AWG MEGA butts and our MEGA Heat Shrink for 4 AWG, 2-1 AWG, 1/0 AWG, 2/0 AWG , 3/0 AWG, and 4/0 AWG MEGA butts (either in 3″ lengths if buying it pre-cut) – all available below.

Description
MEGA Butt Connectors are made from super-thick copper barrel stock, tin-plated to resist corrosion, and crimp-tool coded. These can be crimped or soldered. Made in the USA.

2-1 AWG – 9.5mm / .37” ID Cable Entry
1/0 AWG – 11.5mm / .45” ID Cable Entry
2/0 AWG – 12mm / .47” ID Cable Entry
3/0 AWG – 13.6mm / .54” ID Cable Entry
4/0 AWG – 15.2mm / .60″ ID Cable Entry
