Chris Nelson
Chris is our production manager. His career in electronics began at Rockford Fosgate in the 1980s. Chris spent nearly 20 years with them during their heyday.  He was hired in production, where he did final assembly and testing on the now famous Power 300, Power 650, and Power 1000 amplifiers. He later managed the customer service department, and then moved to the Competitive Analysis Department which is where I met him. He runs our production department and oversees the production of every single piece we manufacture. Chris’ work is indistinguishable from my own and he’s just as picky.
On weekends, Chris likes to haul the RV out to a non-disclosed spot, put his feet up, shoot up some targets, and enjoy the fresh desert air. Chris grew up on a mini-bike and worked his way up to a Subaru powered Tatum sand rail. He’s spent many weekends with it on the dunes in Glamis so many of our customers know him from there. He also spent time at Arrowlane in Scottsdale, AZ so he’s no stranger to high-end classic autos and race cars.

Kristy Churchill
Kristy is our customer service manager. She’s held nearly every position conceivable in a wide variety of industries. She was our mailperson with the USPS for several years – right up to the point at which I offered her a job. We’ve never looked back. Kristy is a master of efficiency and a packing savant. She picks, packs, and ships 90% of the orders we process. It’s her goal to ensure that your package arrives to you quickly and safely – you ain’t never seen someone spool a roll of wire or pack a box as well and as quickly as she can.
Kristy is an absolute Mustang nut – specifically, anything which has Carrol Shelby’s fingerprints on it. In her spare time, Kristy likes to surround herself with family. She now has three grandchildren and she couldn’t be happier.

Sara Churchill
Sara came to us from the retail clothing industry. In the time she’s worked for us, she has become indispensable. She’s Kristy’s youngest daughter and is mom’s mini-me. Sara runs our cable assembly station. She builds nearly all of the assemblies ordered via our Custom Cable Builders, our Booster Cables that Don’t Suck, as well as cables supplied in our Battery Cable Kits, Battery Relocation Kits, Big 3 Upgrade Kits, etc. Her attention to detail is second to none.
Sara owns a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 – the very one we used in product development for the 1988-1994 OBS trucks. It needs one of most things and two of others. She’s not at all scared to dig in to replace a water pump, etc.

Rob Hummel
I met Rob the same year I started CE Auto Electric Supply. Rob walked up to me at a car show and asked, Hey mister, who made that slick alternator mount you’ve got there? Shortly after, I set him up with a Battery Relocation Kit, etc. for his ’68 Chevelle. When Rob got it on the road, we invited him to come cruise with us and we’ve been buddies ever since.
His ’68 Chevelle now has a 10-71 blown 540ci BBC, awaiting a few odds and ends before he can drop it in the engine bay. This is the very same Chevelle Rob and a buddy raced in Ohio back in the day and he’s had it for a big chunk of his life. Rob is also into off-roading, and often goes out with us in his very capable bright yellow Wrangler Rubicon JL.
I’ve been after Rob for some time to join our team. When I decided to ramp up our product development efforts, he was a natural choice.

Tony Candela
I founded CE Auto Electric Supply in 2011 to provide automotive enthusiasts and professionals alike a source of obtaining the highest quality automotive electrical parts and solutions available. I’ve been involved in the automotive industry most of my adult life. After years as a hobbyist, my professional career began in 1989 in Joplin, MO as car audio installer. After a lengthy career in the 12-volt industry, during which time I worked for Clifford Electronics and Rockford Fosgate, I founded Candela Sales & Marketing in 2009. My first book, Automotive Wiring and Electrical Systems, was published the same year. After the book was released, I was overwhelmed with requests on locating parts referenced in the book. Fast forward to present day – we have thousands of best-in-class parts in stock and ready to ship. In 2013, I brought in our own line of finely stranded, tinned, Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) battery cable. We now offer it in 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 and 4/0 AWG sizes. We offer a myriad of kits which we’ve designed to simplify and solve all kinds of problems, from Battery Cable Kits to Fan Relay Kits and everything in-between.
I’m a hardcore enthusiast. My pro street 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass [OLDZCUL] is on its third power plant, a roots blown 509ci BBC that makes over 1,000hp on 91 octane pump gas at 7,400 RPM! It rolls on the biggest slicks Hoosier sells and has around 23,000 miles on the clock as it gets driven all over the valley. I’m out and about in the Shop Jeep often, making deliveries, etc. My 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody [NEWSCUL] is my driver when I have the time. The Shop Truck is a lifted 2012 Ford F150 with the Ecoboost V6. It rolls on 35s and is commonly all over the valley running errands. There’s plenty of wrenching to be done on the weekends, so that’s how I like to spend my time.
Generally speaking, CE Auto Electric Supply is an exciting place to work. We’ve all unplugged from Corporate America and we do it our way – the right way. We make no excuses. We don’t sell our wares on the big sites because I prefer to keep the personal relationships with our customer base. My goal from day one was to put our customers first and that’s what we do every single day. We listen to killer music all day long, powered by stacks of McIntosh amplifiers. So, if you call and hear Jimmy Buffett at margarita time, don’t be surprised. Our staff is the heartbeat of our success – and we’ve got a great one.
We’re enthusiasts. We’re super users. We’d love to earn your business.
