This ‘vette is currently in the works at Motor Mike’s shop. Mike is one of our oldest customers, and we’re proud that he chose us for the following parts and components for it:

Mike installed one of our battery relocation kits and had us fab up a few custom cables for him, including a custom charge lead.
Mike had the alternator rebuilt locally and wired it correctly so that it now works properly – this vehicle was originally equipped with a generator.
A previous owner had replaced the stock 35 Amp generator with a larger output alternator and left the stock wiring in place. This melted the ammeter harness. Mike removed the damaged wiring and bypassed the stock ammeter so that the alternator (105 amps) will work correctly without worry of damaging the wiring harness further. If you own a classic vehicle with an ammeter, you can NOT use the existing wiring when upgrading to a higher output alternator!
