Many modern vehicles use a somewhat different terminal to attach the cables to the battery. In many cases, they’re made of steel, which can actually promote galvanic corrosion between the different metals: copper wire, lead battery post, and steel terminal. Our OEM Style Battery Terminals are made of a tin-plated copper alloy to resist oxidation and corrosion. Made in the USA.
OEM Style Battery Terminals require a special tool to install, so we’re happy to install them for you on cables built to your specifications. Of course, we recommend adhesive-lined heat shrink to insulate the terminations, but that’s not shown here for illustrative purposes.
