We recommend the use of the 12-10 AWG Kit as well as 10 AWG wiring for any fan 12″ or larger in size to minimize voltage drop!
How to Properly Install
As this is a pull-to-seat style connector, use the following procedures:
1 – Push the wires through the seal in the rear of the connector and through the connector body to the other side
2 – Strip the wires so that they fit perfectly in the electrical nest of the terminal with about 1/16″ of wire past the nest
3 – Crimp the terminals with the correct crimp tool!
4 – If the wiring is 12 AWG or 10 AWG, we strongly recommend that you also solder them to minimize voltage drop
5 – Pull the wiring from the seal side in such a way that the terminal is seated into the connector
