This is a complete replacement cable kit for the 2011-2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Duramax Trucks with the LGH or LML diesel engine (complete list below). We did away with the silly OEM terminals in favor of our SUPER THICK Terminals. Our kit offers improved cranking power and performance over stock cables, especially worn out ones.

Description
The factory cable sets leave lots to desire. Galvanic corrosion is a major problem due to the use of dissimilar metals – copper, tin, brass, steel, etc. The MEGA fuse center on top of the passenger side battery is typically all corroded. [As well as the single on top of the driver’s side battery if the vehicle is equipped with the 2nd alternator.] Common problems with these trucks are corrosion, decreased starting performance, and grounding issues. Our kits address it all.
This Cable Kit is made to fit your truck perfectly from the following Components:
- Super Thick Battery Terminals – easily replaced without replacing the cable assy, should the need occur
- 2 AWG CE Auto Electric Supply tinned Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) Battery Cable – 2,989 Strands
- 4 AWG CE Auto Electric Supply tinned Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) Battery Cable – 1,862 Strands
- 8 AWG CE Auto Electric Supply tinned Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) Battery Cable – 735 Strands
- Super Thick Tin Plated MEGA Eyelets
- Large gauge terminations dressed in our Super Thick Adhesive Lined MEGA Heat Shrink
- Small gauge terminations dressed in our Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing
- Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink used to dress loom to cables

- Battery to Starter and MEGA fuse box feed, GM Part # 22790288
- Crossover Cable – GM Part # 23167993
- Grid Heater cable assy – MEGA fuse box to Grid Heater (4 AWG), GM Part # 20943122
- Charge Lead – MEGA fuse box to Alternator (4 AWG), GM Part # 20943123
- Negative cable assembly, passenger side – battery negative to block and to frame (2 AWG and 8 AWG), GM Part # 22846474
- Negative cable assembly, driver’s side – battery negative to block (2 AWG), GM Part # 22846478
- Replacement Ground Cable – block to firewall (4 AWG), GM Part # 23249195
Includes a complete complement of hardware and full color installation instructions to ensure a smooth installation.
Options
We sell this kit two ways:
Option 1 – Includes a full complement of new hardware for you to freshen the OEM MEGA fuse holder atop the passenger side battery. Our hardware is all steel to prohibit corrosion from dissimilar metals. You will have to clean the corrosion from the OEM busbar and factory installed MEGA fuses. All outlined fully in the installation instructions.
Option 2 – In addition to the hardware to freshen the OEM MEGA fuse holder, this option also includes brand new MEGA fuses. The stock fuses can be so badly corroded that they’re difficult to clean, even on a wire wheel! Toss them and install fresh ones is our call.
