This Big 3 Upgrade Kit has been designed specifically to accompany our  2002-2006 Chevrolet / GMC Duramax Battery Cable Kits.  The cables included in this kit are intended to complement the installation of a high output alternator and are in addition to the ones included in the Battery Cable Kits.

Our 1/0 AWG kit is perfect when adding our Mechman 250A Alternator for your truck (see below) or for alternators of up to 300A in size. The 2/0 AWG kit is perfect for larger alternators.

We recommend choosing the fuse as close to the output rating of your alternator as possible. For example, choose the 250A fuse for a 250A alternator.

    I installed the 1/0 AWG kit with the Mechman 250A HO alternator from here. It went in very easily and had everything I needed to properly install. Went perfectly with the 1/0 AWG Battery Kit I ordered from here as well for my 2002 Duramax. Truck starts and charges better than before and probably best that it has. Also seems to run better than before as the better cables and additional grounds I am sure helped over factory.
