Mechman 2001-2014 GM Full Size Truck with 6.6L Diesel 250A Alternator
$429.00
The Mechman Elite series 250 amp alternator offers great output at idle RPM and excellent durability in a direct-bolt-in package. 6 phase technology, combined with massive twin rectifier assemblies and 12 diodes makes these alternators totally durable for daily use, while still maintaining great output at low RPM. These alternators will make 180 amps at engine idle speeds with a full 250 amp output at cruising speeds.
This unit comes with an OEM diameter pulley, making it perfect for high RPM and racing use. No shorter belt needed unless the existing belt is worn.
This unit has a side output stud so that it will fit all of the 6.6L Diesel trucks, regardless of air intake or intake manifold style.

Installation Notes
This alternator includes the Mechman H104 wiring harness that plugs inline with your OEM wiring to the alternator. It is required to attach the single long yellow wire to a 12V switched source to help the higher power alternator to charge at lower idle RPMs. Not using this harness will result in very low to no output at idle and a check battery light in OEM applications.
See diagram above (scroll to the last photo) for specifics.
