Kit Specifics

Dual 200 Amp Breaker Kit includes 2 AWG jumpers to connect the breakers and 1/0 AWG Starter / Junction Stud Boots.

Dual 150 Amp Breaker Kit includes 4 AWG jumpers to connect the breakers and 2-1 AWG Starter / Junction Stud Boots.

In addition to protection from shorts, the circuit breakers provide an excellent measure for storage and anti-theft – pop the trunk, press both red buttons, and power to the vehicle is disconnected.

Specifications

These breakers will typically pass 200% of their rating for 5 seconds, 150% of their rating for 10 seconds, and 100% of their rating for over 30 seconds.

Voltage Range – 12-24VDC
Current vs time to trip @ 20 degC +/- 5degC:
100% of rating – 20-180s to trip
150% of rating – 6-40s to trip
200% of rating – 4-25s to trip

When installing these, we recommend using the reducers when applicable to achieve the best engagement of the set screws into the cable.  After mounting the unit, put threadlocker blue on the threads of the set screws and tighten with a long-handled ratchet.

Options

You can mount the components on the side of the Moroso 74051 Plastic Battery Box Kit as shown, mount them to a piece of ABS plastic, or simply mount them to any flat, level surface near the battery.  If you are doing a complete battery relocation, our Deluxe Battery Relocation Kits include the appropriately sized Dual Circuit Breaker Kit.
