Fusible Link Kits
$7.95 – $10.95
Fusible Links are used to protect runs of wiring. They are also commonly used by the OEM on the alternator charge lead. We do not recommend the use of fusible links inside of the vehicle due to the nature of how they fail as this can be a fire hazard.
Fusible Links are sized 4 wire sizes up from the cable they are connected to. IE – use a 12 AWG fusible link to protect an 8 AWG cable. We offer these kits in 8 AWG, 10 AWG, 12 AWG, 14 AWG, 16 AWG, and 18 AWG – see chart below for AWG to mm² conversion.

Bought a relatively rare 8AWG fusible link kit, required for proper repair of a 2006 Corvette. CE is the only source I could find that offered any help, short of the Chevy dealer who would happily sell us an entire engine bay harness for huge $$. My order was received, processed & shipped same day. Had it in my hands 48 hours later. CE is my new “GO-TO” as we do a large amount of automotive electrical
/electronic repairs. We rate them 5 STARS.
