This kit eliminates completely the voltage drop through the terminations and connectors of the ignition switch, neutral safety switch, bulkhead connector, etc. This can be a huge factor on an older vehicle or even a brand new wiring harness that uses cheap thin-wall brass terminals vs OEM grade tin-plated parts. This kit is also perfect for vehicles with big headers where they are in close proximity to the starter.

Description
There are few things more frustrating than your vehicle not wanting to start. One of the most common causes of this is heat soaking the starter solenoid trigger lead. Factory trigger leads can be as small as 12 AWG and some starter solenoids can draw up to 30A – a bad combination when big headers are nearby.
This kit includes everything to solve this problem once and for all!
Pre-Assembled Hella 40A Waterproof Relay & Socket:
Battery Feed* – 42″ 10 AWG cross-link wire
Starter Solenoid Feed* – 36″ 10 AWG cross-link wire
Starter Solenoid Trigger – 36″ 16 AWG cross-link wire
Ground – 12″ long with pre-terminated eyelet
