We developed this kit fully in-house to fit perfectly and offer exceptional performance over the factory designs!  We built, installed, and tested our 1/0 AWG Battery Cable Kit in a 2016 GMC Sierra Denali 2500HD and man did it come out nice!  The Next Chapter – Complete In-House Product Development tells you all about the process.

For starters, the goal was to design the set to be fully compatible with the OEM Fuse Center atop the passenger side battery.  In addition, the battery terminals we’ve used on the driver’s side battery allow for simple aftermarket accessory connections.  [ 7/7/26 – we’ve got a complete auxiliary power center in the works for that! ]  Cable fitment is very similar to OEM and even our 1/0 AWG Kit fits just beautifully.  Of course, as always, we use better materials and provide superior grounding hardware as compared to the OEMs and it all adds up.

So how did we do in comparison?

The factory cable set leaves a lot to desire and the ones on this truck (an Arizona truck) had white corrosion on both negative battery cables.  They were able to muster only 522.6A @ 9.8V during cranking.  Our 1/0 AWG cable set was far superior at 570.6A @ 10.6V.  That’s an increase of 17.6% in cranking power – imagine how easy your truck will start in the cold weather!

This Cable Kit is made to fit your truck perfectly from the following Components:

• Super Thick Battery Terminals – easily replaced without replacing the cable assy, should the need occur
• CE Auto Electric Supply tinned Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) Battery Cable
• Super Thick Tin Plated MEGA Eyelets
• Terminations dressed via a combination of our Super Thick Adhesive Lined MEGA Heat Shrink and our Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing
• Techflex Hi-Temperature Wire Covering used to dress cables as they pass by heat sources
• Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink used to dress loom and Hi-Temperature Wire Covering to cables

Kit includes the following cable assemblies:

• Positive cable assembly, Passenger Side Battery to Fuse Center*
• Positive cable assembly, Fuse Center to Starter*
• Crossover cable assembly, Fuse Center to Driver Side Battery Positive*
• Negative cable assembly, Passenger Side Battery Negative to Block* and to Frame (8 AWG)
• Negative cable assembly, Driver Side Battery Negative to Block*
• Replacement Ground Cable – Block to Firewall (4 AWG)

Includes a complete complement of hardware and full color installation instructions to ensure a smooth installation.
