This is a complete replacement cable kit for the 2008-2008 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty trucks with the 6.4L PowerStroke Diesel Engine(complete list below).
Stock Cable size is 1/0 AWG with a 2 AWG crossover cable if you can believe that! Our Kit is all 2/0 AWG – 26% more copper than 1/0 AWG and double that of 2 AWG! The kit includes an add-on 2/0 AWG frame to block cable for the driver’s side battery (see explanation below) and an 8 AWG battery to body ground cable added to driver’s side ground cable assy. The increased cable size and improved grounding offers greatly improved cranking power and performance over stock cables, especially worn out ones.
Battery terminals include accessory studs where required to ensure a perfect factory fitment!

Description
The factory cable set leaves a lot to desire with thin wall terminals and lugs. In addition, none of the terminations are well insulated from the elements which causes them to break down over time. The driver’s side negative battery cable connects to the frame (not the block) and the crossover cable is inadequately sized at 2 AWG. Combined, this reduces the effectiveness of the driver’s side battery when starting the engine. Common problems with these vehicles are decreased starting performance, failed battery terminals, and grounding issues. Our kit addresses all of these issues.
