Designing Custom Flag Terminal Battery Cable Assemblies

Our Flag Terminal Cable Builder is the newest tool on our website and we’re super proud of it.  With it, you can build and order cable assemblies which utilize either top post or stud style flag terminals for 2, 3, or 4 batteries! 

Below are the four most common designs, in both top-post and stud styles.

Before building your own custom cables, consider how the “left” and “right” orientation selections affect the orientation of the flag terminals on Type B and Type D assemblies. We build all cables in a straight line, but when they’re installed in the vehicle as shown on the Type B and Type D illustrations, you have left oriented (bottom batteries) and right oriented (top batteries) flag terminals. In addition, the same is true when using our Elbow Battery Terminals for the last battery.
