Description
Greatly simplifies the installation of two Best In Class products!
- Our 2-Speed 70A Dual Fan Relay Kit – EFI Applications, Negative Trigger
- Dakota Digital PAC-2800BT Electronic Fan Controller with Bluetooth Control
This is possible via a special harness we’ve developed to marry the two, seamlessly! Our 2-speed 70A Dual Fan Relay Kit is our best selling Fan Relay Kit and the reference in the category. This kit allows you to use it with carbureted applications. Our harness has been designed in such a way that it plugs directly into the fan relay kit and it’s pre wired for all connections on the PAC-2800BT. This will save you a TON of time! The harness is dressed in our split braided tubing so that you get the show car look.
The Dakota Digital PAC-2800BT is the slickest fan controller we know of and we’re proud to offer it. The unit is programmed via the SET / INC switches to navigate the various menus, all outlined in exceptional detail in the included manual. If you also download the Dakota Digital App to your phone (free!), you can easily set up and test the system right from your smartphone!
Operation
You’ll get all the super cool perks that the EFI guys get:
- Fans come on in Low Speed via the FAN LOW- Output – which should be set to activate at 165 degF or so.
- Fans shift to High Speed via the FAN HIGH- Output – which should be set to activate at 185 degF or so.
Low Speed – Two fans operating in Low Speed consume less than half of the current required of a single fan operating at full speed.
High Speed – Inrush current to the fans is reduced to approximately 50% of what a pair of fans require when switching ON from a dead stop.
Options
We make two separate harnesses based on the kind of temperature sensing for your application. This greatly simplifies the installation!
>> Both harnesses are pre-wired wired with the A/C interface; but, it does not have to be used if the vehicle doesn’t have air conditioning. <<
Option 1 – A/C Interface Only
This harness does not include the temperature sender lead from the sending unit to the PAC-2800BT. [As pictured, the gray wire is omitted from the harness.]
Order this option if:
- You have a Dakota Digital product which has the BIM connection interface – VFD/VFX/HDX/RTX controllers OR the BIM-01 Module.
- You have or are also purchasing from us the Dakota Digital SEN-04-05 1/8″ NPT Sender with harness, offered below.
Option 2 – A/C and Temperature Sender Interface
This option includes the temperature sender lead from the sending unit to the PAC-2800BT. [As pictured, note the gray wire in the harness.]
Order this option if:
- You desire to connect the Dakota Digital controller to a dedicated temperature sending unit.*
- You have or are also purchasing from us the Dakota Digital 140022 1/8″ NPT sending unit, offered below.
