2 Year Performance Guarantee

The Mechman two year warranty applies to Mechman Alternators sold ON or AFTER 07/13/2011. This limited two year warranty allows the customer to return his or her Mechman alternator for repair for a full two years after the alternator purchase date. This warranty does not cover other parts or equipment on the vehicle, and does not cover labor for removal or installation of the alternator. This warranty is VOID if the Mechman alternator is modified, physically abused, misused, improperly installed, or is not used in the application for which it was designed. The Mechman two year warranty is non-transferrable.

Fitment Notes

In some applications, there may or may not be a small bolt holding a small metal coolant pipe that will interfere with the alternator sitting flat to its mounting surface. If you encounter this, simply remove the small bolt and leave the bracket in place. When the alternator is installed and bolted down, the bracket is sandwiched in-between creating the same retention force (or more) than the OEM small retaining bolt. We do not advise notching or modifying the alternator to create clearance for this bolt due to incorrect tools being used and will necessitate the removal of the alternator in case of a hose replacement situation instead of an easier way of just loosening.
