Why is a large case alternator better? Amperage output at idle/low RPM’s, right where diesel engines like to operate the most! With nearly 200 amps just at idle and over 370 amps at driving RPM’s this alternator is the most power single alternator you can install in the factory location. This unit includes a near stock sized pulley so you don’t even need to change your belt with the installation of this part number. It’s a win after a win after a win! This is mostly a plug and play operation and bolts in just like OEM. A 2pin wiring harness is included with this alternator for OEM fitments and detailed instructions on how to install in your vehicle.
2 Year Performance Guarantee
The MechMan two year warranty applies to Mechman Alternators sold ON or AFTER 07/13/2011. This limited two year warranty allows the customer to return his or her MechMan alternator for repair for a full two years after the alternator purchase date. This warranty does not cover other parts or equipment on the vehicle, and does not cover labor for removal or installation of the alternator. This warranty is VOID if the MechMan alternator is modified, physically abused, misused, improperly installed, or is not used in the application for which it was designed. The MechMan two year warranty is non-transferrable.
