Top Post Negative Battery Disconnect

This negative battery terminal allows you to quickly and easily disconnect the battery from the vehicle. Simply loosen the green knob and the battery is disconnected. You don’t have to remove the knob, or separate the terminal, just loosen it.

As you can see here, you have a few installation options:

• Connect your existing negative battery terminal to the male end of this terminal.
• Bolt an eyelet to the end of this terminal, such as when having us custom make battery cables for you – shown is a 90 degree eyelet for a clean installation.

This is ideal when you desire a simple way to disconnect the battery when storing the vehicle, showing your vehicle indoors, etc. It is not designed to disable a running engine, nor can it be used for such.
