This is a complete replacement cable kit for the 1982-1987 Chevrolet and GMC C and K Trucks as well as the 1982-1991 Chevrolet and GMC Suburbans and Full Size Blazers with the 6.2L Detroit Diesel Engine.
Includes replacement positive and negative cable assemblies with much thicker battery terminals. We’ve also added an 8 AWG battery to body ground cable to the driver’s side ground cable assy. Power stub on driver’s side battery cable is retained – ours is 8 AWG with butt connector.
Stock Cable size is 2 AWG.  Our 2 AWG Kits offer improved cranking power and performance over stock cables, especially worn out ones.  Our 1/0 AWG Kits offer even greater cranking power and performance – perfect for modified trucks!  We offer both.

Description
The factory cable sets leave lots to desire with thin wall terminals and lugs. In addition, none of the terminations are insulated from the elements which causes them to break down over time.  Common problems with these trucks are decreased starting performance and grounding issues. Our kits address both fully.
