Factory cable sets for these vans haven’t been available for some time.  The original cable assy was quite complex, and needlessly so.  We separated it a bit in the design process so that it’s easier for you to install versus a single bulky and heavy assy.  Our design also provides a bit of flexibility as it pertains to the type of batteries you run, specifically the spacing between posts.

The factory cable set leaves a lot to desire!  The big cast part on the upper battery positive terminal with a side post terminal bolted to it – not very serviceable.  In addition, none of the terminations are well insulated from the elements which causes them to break down over time.  Common problems with these vehicles are decreased starting performance, failed battery terminals, and grounding issues.  Our kit addresses all of these issues.
