   Worth every penny. The quality and fit of this product is amazing. My Silverado starts much better and seems to have taken care of some other gremlins I was having as well. Thanks for making suck a quality product and will definitely be ordering some for my Dodge soon.

   I’m not going to lie I was avoiding these cables all together at first. I looked for any kind of alternative that would be a cheaper route. After looking I decided to bite the bullet and order them. I had a few questions prior and Tony answered quicker than I expected. I sent an email on a Saturday and got a response within minutes. I called Sunday not realizing it was Sunday (job had me disoriented) and Tony returned my call Monday morning. When the cables came in I instantly realized that these would probably be the last cables I had to put on. They are top notch quality and shipping was lightning fast. Every piece of hardware is provided and even an unexpected engine to cab ground came with it. Had to grind down the positive cable crimp for my starter but that was expected. After install starting my truck put a smile on my face. I’m getting better charge from my alternator now and found a spot in my old stock positive battery cable that had worn through and was grounding causing them to drain prematurely. Super satisfied with my purchase and already browsing for some other things to buy.

   I ordered the 1/0 awg battery cable kit for my 05 Duramax, shipping was fast. Instructions were clear and helpful. Installation was straight forward and not difficult. I somehow lost one of the small ground cables and ordered a replacement, customer service is excellent! The truck starts better than it ever has, power windows are better, heated seats warm up faster, and the transmission shifts smoother. I’m very pleased with this kit! Worth every penny! I highly recommend this kit, 5 out 5 stars!

   Cables are high quality and assembled with precision. Kit when in place like the instructions said and connected right up to the new high torque starter I installed as well. The truck fires right up now and far better than any of the factory items. Used the 1/0 AWG kit and everything routed nicely and easily. For my 2002 it had the extra fuse block lead that allowed for easy connections for the Littlefuse PDI I installed as well.

   Wires were all the right length. Installation is tricky do to the gauge of the wiring. Instructions state to follow the same path as the original wiring. Some of my original wiring is in a black plastic case that makes the wires touch the engine block. Unsure how long they will last like that.

   90 degree for the starter is WAY to big. Have to cut down. Do it before hand. I wish I would’ve had a clue. I had to remove once installed because of this. Then I got to put it back in and the screw hole was too small.

   Only 2 stars because of the troubles. Called them and all I got was “Sorry”. Bad customer service.

     Jacob, thank you for apprising us of the difficulties you encountered during the installation. Since its introduction, we’ve sold a few hundred of these kits and customers have been quite happy with fitment, performance, etc. To say that we have put a lot of thought into these kits would be an understatement! Even yet, I immediately addressed each of the concerns you raised with our production department as I never want a customer to have to modify one of our kits to have it fit properly and, as we discussed, such input is an opportunity for us to improve the product.

     Sometimes in the aftermarket, and depending on the vehicle, some modification is simply unavoidable. Rest assured that we took your input to heart and updated all of our raw materials, finished goods, and the installation instructions based upon it. As I took your calls personally, I never once brushed you off and told you “Sorry” so I take issue with that. But yes, generally speaking, I’m sorry that the kit did not meet your expectations.

   This kit was great! The cables are very well made, the perfect length and the instructions were clear. I went with the 1/o and was not disappointed cranking power has increased greatly and fixed many of my light flickering problems, my heated seats work again, my radio doesn’t cut out anymore and i have amp research power running boards that would go up half way or not at all that now work great. the only problem i had was while hooking the cable to starter the tab was slightly too big and would engage the starter but a simple modification took care of that. If you’re thinking about getting this kit just do it, it’s definitely worth the money i couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the the kit or the results!

   The cable kit that I received was exactly as advertised and shown. Definitely not the cheapest option but without a doubt more value per dollar spent. The quality of materials and construction is worth what CE Auto Electric is asking. All the terminals are rock solid and where the cables split there are 3 mechanical devices holding them together, the terminal, glue lined heat shrink (very thick heat shrink) and a zip tie to make sure. All jackets are secured in place via heat shrink and heat shielding is where it needs to be. The battery terminal hardware is bagged and labeled, the ground bolts have had the washers put on the and twist tied to keep them together. All other nessary hardware is included and the installation instructions are clear and cover everything needed to install my new larger cables.

   Really can not say enough about this kit or the customer service from CE Auto. If you want and can appreciate buying from a company that still believes in customer care, buy from CE auto.

   I purchased the 1/0 kit. The cables cleared up my dimming lights when using my power windows and the slow rolling power windows. Their ground wires correct many of GMs faulty ground issues and the cables look bad Azz! Do yourself the favor !

   I wish I could give them Ten stars …as an electian and carpenter by trade I was going to make my own cables ….wow i’am so glad I just did the upgrade on the cables as these new 1/0 cables are big and put the stock GM cables to shame

    Anyone looking at this kit has probably already figured out that these year GM trucks have poorly designed battery cables. Factory Terminal ends are susceptible to water/moisture intrusion causing them to corrode and rot from the inside out.
    I live up north in Maine where below freezing temperatures are frequent for several months out of the year. I had very weak cranking power and hard starts on most mornings during the winters, even when using the block heater overnight. So I replaced both batteries thinking that would solve my problems but I had little to no gain in cranking power after installing them so, I started looking at the cables next. Which is where I found my issue. Once removed, you could feel how brittle the wires had become and see how corroded the cables were at the terminals. Knowing I had to replace them, I decided to cut into some of the wires to find they were plagued with heavy corrosion. I didn’t want to replace them with OEM cables, I wanted something better and figured there was no better time to upgrade than now.
    There are very few aftermarket companies who make a complete kit specific to the Duramax. Especially ones that address all the OEM flaws and with the option to go bigger with 1/0 gauge wire for maximum cranking power like this one. So, I took a chance and ordered the upgraded 1/0 version.
    This kit is the cure!
    Heavy duty terminals lugs are crimped properly with thick, adhesive lined shrink wrap that keeps moisture out of your wires and terminations. All the terminal lug eyelets were the proper size for their corresponding hardware that’s included with the kit and all wires were the right length so there are no headaches!
    I bought the 1/0 gauge kit back in November before the really harsh cold weather started.
    Through the whole winter, my truck started with ease every single morning no matter how cold. The first time I started the truck after installing the cables, you could VERY clearly hear The difference in starting/cranking power. This kit allows you to send all the power possible from your batteries to get your duramax started and never have to worry again. Now, I have the confidence my truck will start, reliably, even in well below freezing temperatures.
    10/10 would recommend to anyone with a duramax. It’s the best kit you will find out there and we’ll worth the investment!!
