Step Down Butt Connectors are perfect to connect wires of different gauges end to end.  These are brazed, seamless, and color coded for perfect splices every time.  We recommend such terminations are insulated with our Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink, available below.  Or, they can be soldered if you prefer.
