MEGA Heat Shrink is our premier heat shrink. This is our thickest wall tubing and it has a 2:1 shrink ratio. The adhesive melts with heat to completely seal out water and acid fumes to stop corrosion. We use it in the construction of all of our Add-A-Battery Kits, Battery Relocation Kits, Big 3 Upgrade Kits, Charging System Upgrade Kits, REAL Amp Kits, etc.

For your convenience, we offer it in 4-foot lengths in red and black so that you can cut it to length yourself for larger projects.

We provide the following ID guidelines:

1 1/2″ ID – Use to Insulate:

  • Multiple large cables terminated into a single eyelet – (2) 1/0 AWG into a single 4/0 AWG MEGA Eyelet or Battery Terminal for example

1″ ID – Use to Insulate:

  • 3/0 AWG and 4/0 AWG MEGA Eyelets, MEGA Butt Connectors, and Battery Terminals
  • 2/0 AWG, 3/0 AWG, and 4/0 AWG Compression Style Eyelets
  • 1/0 AWG Set Screw Type Eyelets

3/4″ ID – Use to Insulate:

  • 2-1 AWG, 1/0 AWG, and 2/0 AWG, MEGA Eyelets, MEGA Butt Connectors, and Battery Terminals
  • 2-1 AWG and 1/0 AWG Compression Style Eyelets
  • 4-2 AWG Set Screw Type Terminals

1/2″ ID – Use to Insulate:

  • 4 AWG MEGA Eyelets, MEGA Butt Connectors, and Battery Terminals
  • 4 AWG Compression Style Eyelets

3/8″ ID – Use to Insulate:
