This is Cross-Link Polyolefin with a 3:1 shrink ratio. The adhesive melts with heat to completely insulate the termination and keep the elements out.

For your convenience we offer it in 4-foot lengths in Red and Black so that you can cut it in any length you need for larger projects.

Description

We provide the following ID guidelines:

  • 1 1/2″ ID – Use to dress tubing to large harnesses, insulate multiple large cables terminated to a single Eyelet or Battery Terminal, etc.
  • 1 1/4″ ID – Use to dress tubing to 2/0 AWG, 3/0 AWG, and 4/0 AWG cables
  • 1” ID – Use to dress tubing to 1/0 AWG and 2/0 AWG cables
  • 3/4″ ID – Use to insulate our 2-1 AWG Open Barrel Style Eyelets, OEM Side Post Battery Terminals, and to dress tubing to 2 AWG and 4 AWG Cables
  • 1/2″ ID – Use to insulate our 6-4 AWG Open Barrel Style Eyelets and to dress tubing to 6 AWG, and 8 AWG Cable
