These kits fit 1994-2002 Gen 2 Dodge Trucks with the 5.9L 12 valve or 24 valve Cummins Turbo Diesel Engines. These trucks originally came with dual batteries. This kit is for those eliminating the passenger side battery.
Stock Cable size is 1/0 AWG. Our 2/0 AWG Kits are the minimum recommended when deleting a battery. 3/0 AWG kits offer even greater cranking power and performance, which is excellent for cold climates! Parts list and specifications listed below.

Description
These Cable Kits are made to fit your truck perfectly! All kits include Military Style Battery Terminals – won’t crack or break like the original lead terminals!
Kits include the following:
- Driver’s Side Positive Battery Cable Assy – loomed 2/0 AWG (or 3/0 AWG) cable to the starter, 4 AWG cable to the PDC
- Driver’s Side Negative Battery Cable Assy – 2/0 AWG (or 3/0 AWG) ground cable to the block, 8 AWG ground cable to body, 8 AWG ground cable to frame
- Grid Heater Solenoid Cable Assy w/ integrated fusible links
- Boots to insulate positive connections
- Loom to dress the starter solenoid trigger lead which must be separated from the factory starter cable Assy
- A complete complement of hardware for a smooth installation

Stock Cable Sets vs Time
Corrosion and oxidation are major factors in why the cable sets in these trucks are due for replacement. One of the biggest factors is what happens between the negative cables to the engine block and the terminations themselves.
